I want to love these and I saved for ages to buy them for my son as a wooden alternative to plastic playing blocks - but the truth is they are just really hard to use - it is really hard to get them to stick together and my son cannot even pull them apart without help - and even I struggle to help him and was getting frustrated! It is really sad because the colours of the wood are amazing and they are conceptually just what I wanted but I doubt if we will use them at all, even as he gets older. They are also quite hard and almost sharp (not that would cut you just uncomfortable to hold) around the edges for small hands. In short, the product is beautiful but just not functional for young children.
